Yoga Goals


I recently re-discovered my love of Yoga!

For a little background:  My mother started Yoga when I was about 10 & I used to love going along to the classes.  We then moved house & life got busy with the likes of school, sports, homework & eventually Varsity ... and with this, my Yoga practice diminished to closeto ZERO!  Mum however, became an instructor & dad built her a studio at home.

Moving forward 14 years ---> I have re-discovered this fantastic pasttime!  Not only is it fantastic for my body, re-awakening muscles that I had long given up on ... it also does incredible things for my personality at the end of a long day!  I feel like I am safe to be set loose in the World without the possibilty of committing the murder of the next BMW driver that cuts me off!

Our yoga instructor, Hugo, has encouraged us to set yoga goals ... you know, those postures you see in the books are like "Say What?!?!?!"

Anyways, here is my list of top 4 goals & perhaps a measure of how crazy I just may be ...

1. The Bird of Paradise (I nearly have this one sorted)

 
2. The Compass / Sundial

3. The Peacock

4. The King Dancer
